Calling All Leos

Mon Dec 11, 2006, 12:40 AM
  • Listening to: GDW OST - A Crisis Of Life And Death
  • Eating: Chicken Pesto Spaghettini
  • Drinking: H2O

Leo horoscope for Monday, December 11th:
For those of us who know the real you, it is frustrating to see your lack of confidence, dear Leo. The range of your talents and abilities is startling to the rest of us mere mortals, yet you rarely give yourself credit for all that you are capable of. Today, you are given an opportunity to participate in a project that could make or break your career. Don't hesitate out of fear that your capabilities aren't up to the task. Have confidence in yourself and jump in with both feet! Not only can you do this, you can do it better than anyone else. Get over yourself and accept the challenge, for goodness sake.

Leo horoscope for Tuesday, December 12th:
The more you talk to people, the more success you will have, dear Leo. Everyone around you is a valuable resource, so tap into this boundless well and have fun. Your agility with words and facts is impressive, so use this to your advantage. Friends are a source of the greatest joy on Earth, and this is a great time to be with them. For the most part, it doesn't even matter what you are doing together. What is important is WHO you are with.

Leo horoscope for Wednesday, December 13th:
Are you having problems with the lighting or heating in your living room, dear Leo? If so, there could be problems with the entire neighborhood, and you might not be able to get a professional out today. You may have to pull out the flashlights to get you through the evening. Nonetheless, don't let this throw you. It's a minor temporary inconvenience that'll be handled. Think of it as an adventure!

Leo horoscope for Thursday, December 14th:
Communication with friends and partners should be clear, open, honest, and supportive today, dear Leo. Camaraderie flows freely, and affection is shown with neither restraint nor overkill. If you're presently involved but not yet committed, a declaration of love and an expression of desire to move the relationship to the next level could be in the wind. At the very least, your lover should pay you a compliment or two!

Leo horoscope for Friday, December 15th:
Sex and romance are top priority with you today, dear Leo. You're looking especially attractive, you're feeling especially sensual, and you could well attract admiring looks from strangers. You might want to indulge in some new clothes, or perhaps a new fragrance. Definitely this is the perfect day to schedule an intimate evening along with a love partner. It might be a day or two before your schedules mesh, however. Patience is so hard at times like this!

Leo horoscope for Saturday, December 16th:
Love is very much in the air today, dear Leo, so be sure to take advantage of this auspicious environment! Invite your loved one over for an afternoon of play. You could play hide and seek under the bedcovers! Or, if you do not have a playmate in your life at the moment, find others ways to fulfill the passion you are feeling. Spend the afternoon reading a trashy novel or invite a friend over to watch a movie with your favorite hot celebrity. Take a break and clear your system.

Leo horoscope for Sunday, December 17th:
Change is in the air, dear Leo. Whether it is a dramatic change of faith or a major shift in your life's goals, prepare yourself for a profound transformation. This change is likely due to the fact that you now have more freedom to do what you want, when you want. Perhaps a financial windfall has made this possible? Whatever the cause, take care to choose your new path with care, as it does not loop back and offer the opportunity to return to your old lifestyle.

...

What a joyous week I have ahead of me.

And on Saturday, I'll be sure to remind myself to play hide and seek under the bedcovers. x]
________

I had a pretty laid back day today, not much worth mentioning.

Though I did host a cooking show for Tess on webcam.. P:
Yes, I finally made those pancakes I had been craving for all of last week.

"Fair Dinkum"

  • Listening to: Sonata Arctica - Wildfire
  • Watching: Flash
  • Eating: Christmas Chocolates

Never.
Ever, say "G'Day Mate!", ask What are Kangaroos like?"; anything related to Australian slang, or about the native animals there, to me.

If you're trying to be funny, I seriously suggest you don't persue a career in comedy.
If you're asking a serious question, then you're just stupid.
It annoys me when people, who are obviously not Australian, ask me questions as such.

Don't be so stereotypical.

I've not seen many kangaroos, and I know not much about them, either. I don't live in a shack in the outback, sit around a campfire, with my pet dingo, singing Waltzing Matilda and eating Bush Tucker. Justno.
________

At school I've been repeatedly told I have an American accent. I say I was born there, to humour them.

I'm not.

Pure Australian, am I. I have a hint of a british accent, from my father, and a slight Trinidadian accent, from my mother. The accents are easy to perceive, distinct, and sound nothing like an American accent.

It just goes to show you most Australians have never left the continent. And actual fact FYI.

Well thats not fair. I know nothing of the other people who inhabit Australia, I'm only basing this on the people of Perth. I guess I should say Perthians.
________

"If I stated that you were black Asian, and even if you were, you'd think I'm racist. But if I stated that you were a white Australian, and you were, you wouldn't think I'm racist. Why is that?"
- Me.
________

My username is annoying me..

What is it with me and having the perfect username? A minor OCD? Maybe.
I refuse to move accounts again, even if my name does suck ass.
________

So, today I was looking through my folders, and found a total of 258 screenshots of Scarface from The Animals Of Farthing Wood, and only 107 of Hougen from Ginga Densetsu Weed. Hm, interesting.

Everything I've said, thus far, would lead you to conclude I'm in a bad mood, and that I've had a bad day. Not so.

I slept over a friend's house the night before, slept in at his place, came back to my place, and went in the spa. Got onto the computer 'round about 2 or 3 in the afternoon, and spent almost (I have a life.. Dx) the rest of the day talking to the bestest friend anyone could ever ask for, who, excuse soppyness, I love now, more than I ever have done. <3
________

I've had a craving for pancakes this whole week. My craving has yet to be fulfilled.

I'm Back

  • Listening to: Death Cab For Cutie - Marching Bands Of Manhattan
  • Watching: Duma
  • Eating: Pikelets

I bet you're wondering; Why does she leave, to just keep coming back?

Because unlike others, I don't I let the hard things in life swallow me up, and run my life.

These past two months have been hell for me. And to top it all off, just this week, I found out my mother has breast cancer.

Funny thing is, noone understands why I'm unhappy. My friends think that just because I have money, I should be happy.
Have they never heard the saying: "Money can't buy you happiness"?
It's so very true. Though when I was younger, that wasn't the case. I never used to believe in that saying.

Don't get me wrong, I love my life. Just not at the moment.

I may be back, yes. But don't expect me to upload anytime soon.
